A beautilful renovated forgotten Moir little village! It is a holiday community for sure! Nice swimmingpool, private houses, private gardens and terasses with a fabuluos views on the lake of Viñuela. It’s the real “campo”-life, so do not expect luxury, just romance and simplicity. For some it is a wake up from the question: “What do I really need”? There’s a nice communal space and kitchen where you can have (or organise) classes, gatherings, parties, marriages, whatever you want to celebrate. Highly recommended!

We visited Los Romanes over Christmas 2019. We were two families in the house (9 people). We had wonderful weather to enjoy the authentic house and beautiful garden. The surrounding area is calm, quiet and rural.
Paul was always very helpful and friendly. He helped us with ekstra things for the house, just ask him, he has a stock. He helped us with information about different beautiful walks in the mountains, and about the local shopping possibilities. He lives next door, so you will meet him.
The fireplace was the center of the house. This was were we had our Christmas dinner and social life in the evening. We were lucky with the weather, but had it been rainy and cold, the house might have been a bit too small for all of us. One bedroom is next to the living room with the fireplace, which makes it difficult to sleep in while life is going on in the living room.

All in all we found the perfect surroundings for our Christmas holiday, but if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with lots of comfort, look elsewhere..
We would love to return to Paul’s beautiful house some other time!

Paul’s place was perfect for the holiday we wanted. A quiet, remote place (because of coronavirus), with a spacious house and a pool, and the option to drive to the beach or city like Nerja or Malaga. It’s the complete package. Paul (and his sons) were also really nice and welcoming.

I can’t really think of anything negative to say, other than you shouldn’t expect a luxurious, 5* hotel kind of stay. The WiFi signal is quite bad (no problems with 4G though, so it wasn’t a problem), it takes some time for the water to heat up and we would’ve liked to see some more plugs.

Other than that, we fully recommend Paul’s place if you want to have a nice, easy holiday with a group of friends or family.

Lovely apartment in a cute village on the top of the mountain. The swimmingpool is amazing and has a beautiful vies over the lake. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Paul is a great host and even organised a paella night for us. Would love to come back!!

We spent 4 days with our company staff. Nice meeting room and ambience. Lots of common areas and views. Sweet swimmingpool and bbq area.
